Sunlight, sunglasses, and a little pause for your eyes
Summer invites us outside.
More light.
More time in nature.
More opportunities to let our eyes look into the distance.
And yet, many of us still spend long hours in front of screens and end the day with tired, dry, and tense eyes.
That's why I'd love to invite you to the next Stress-Less-Eyes Session.
This month, we'll do more than relax our eyes.
We'll also explore a question that comes up every summer:
When are sunglasses and sun hats helpful – and when do our eyes benefit from a little more natural light?
Sunlight is the source of light and energy for our bodies and our eyes. At the same time, there are situations where protection from bright sunlight makes sense.
We'll talk about the pros and cons of sunglasses and sun hats and how to find a balanced approach that supports comfortable, resilient eyes.
And, of course, we'll spend 30 minutes giving our eyes a real break.
No exercises.
No workout.
Just simple, pleasant movements and eye practices that create a feeling of ease and freshness.
In my experience, everything in the body is connected.
When the eyes begin to relax, the mind follows.
And when the mind receives the signal that it is safe to relax, the body follows too.
As the eyes soften and regain movement, tension in the neck, shoulders, jaw, and back often releases naturally as well.
